Design presentations of the future are here, and guess what? They happen to be a lot less time-consuming!
Instead of printing out renders and making cardboard models, the next-gen designer creates interactive 3d models that are integrated in the real-world using AR.
In this blog we wanted to showcase the 4 simple techniques that you can use in ARki 8, to make immersive content that keeps everyone engaged.
Exploded axonametrics are nothing new to design drawings, but how about we take these drawings to the next level, and create exploded animations in 3d/AR! The Explode tool in ARki is specifically designed to help make rapid animations of your models, so that you can showcase components, and construction sequences with ease. This simple tool can be used to animate any 3D object. Simply move meshes in XYZ direction, set the timer for the animation length, and voila! Your model is ready to be viewed as an exploded animation in AR!
Annotations don’t get more responsive than these! Make them long or keep them short, either way they will always stay in view, whichever angle you see the model in AR. These responsive tags are pretty handy when you need to highlight specific properties in your model, such as design options, or material properties……
Ever been stuck deciding which material you should use for your finishes? Yep its a hard decision when you have so many options! That’s why the material tool makes this an interactive experience that can give everyone a bit more clarity! Import textures, and create a material palette that can easily visualise your model with multiple texture options!
When you are designing your dream building, you need to pay special attention to natural lighting, and how shadows impact your site! The sun slider gives you a simple sun-path that will cast real-world shadows on your project in AR! What’s more, if you wanted to add some cool affects to your model - check out the nigh-lighting affect that can be applied to windows, and transparent meshes!
